Amen to quinoa! Seriously, I have no idea what I would so without it! Definitely one of my most fave super foods, jam-packed with fiber and iron and a heckload of other nutrients, it's one of the most common super grains I constantly use. And when you get quinoa in a salad, its pretty much absolute bliss. I think the best part of making salads is the fact that they're so easy to make and are such a simple way to prepare your meals for the rest of the week, and oh gosh, this dish was a colorful dose of heaven! Even upon looking at this, I'm craving for another bowl of it! Would happily make it again. And again... You can find the recipe here

To be frank, a classic bowl of pasta can do no wrong! I was having pasta cravings the other day and this happened. I guess the best recipes to make are the ones where I just experiment and see if it tastes good- and that is exactly how this pasta recipe came about. It was pretty much a successful result of yet another one of my cooking adventures. And oh my, it was so good! This is best served when you're in the mood for a heart meal and I'm pretty sure that pasta can never go astray! You can find the recipe here
As the cold weather continues to make days as gloomy, dreary and cold as possible, the influx of porridge increases. Yeah, I think by now we're much to aware of my ongoing love for oatmeal-rain, hail, shine whatever the weather, I'm always in the mood for some porridge. And to be honest, it's been much too long since I was to share with you all yet another beloved oatmeal recipe. This was created purely spontaneously, out of the blue and was so enriching and delicious! I've recently started to stove cook my porridge instead of using the microwave- I realise that using the microwave can actually zap the nutritional benefits of oats and using the stove makes the oatmeal even more creamier. Hope you like this recipe, and hope it helps you through the winter blues. You can find the recipe here
One of the best things about the winter weather is having comfort food which is so nourishing and just warms up your whole body. As much as I love the summer weather, my fave foods to eat are wintery meals- soups, stews, curries, the list is endless! This soup just filled up my whole body with warmth and was just so delicious! This was a minestrone recipe I made the other day, it was so simple to make and of course so comforting! You can find the recipe here
