Let's be real here, weekdays are long and sometimes, you just want the weekend to come so you can binge watch episodes of the bachelor. Let's all just take an acai of relief now that the weekend's here - (see what I did there? And YAS, this is the second time I've used that pun, but what of it mate?!?!) Start the weekend right with a refreshing fruit crush, featuring one of my most beloved foods - acai.
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 tbsp chia seeds chia seeds
- 1 tbsp acai
- for the topping: assorted fruit, seeds and nuts you have on hand - I used passion fruit, chia seeds,strawberries coconut chips and toasted muesli.
Method:
Whizz all ingredients in a blender, serve in a bowl and top with desired toppings. Enjoy!
