Brown Rice Sushi
You have no idea how much I love sushi - right after porrdige of course- this is my favorite food! So, I was completely ecstatic when I made this recipe and it turned out to be a huge success! I'd recommend you to try it, it's one of my fave recipes!
Ingredients:
- 5-10 nori sheets
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- ½ a cucumber, thinly sliced
- 300g tofu, thinly sliced
- 2 cups of cooked brown rice
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cups water
Method:
1. Gently stir rice wine vinegar into the brown rice.
2. Place a nori sheet on a flat surface (such as a chopping board) and place brown rice evenly on sheet.
3. Place some carrot, tofu, cucumber or desired fillings on the nori wrap.
4. Roll nori sheet carefully - before you roll the nori to the end of the sheet, dab some water on the edge of the nori sheet.
5. Using a wet knife, cut the nori into smaller pieces.
6. Repeat until all the nori has been used. Enjoy!
