When I feel like gettin' all schmancy with my overnight oats, I love layering my overnight oats to make a parfait- it makes my breakfast look so much better! I have this overnight oat combo all the time as they go hand in hand because berries and choco are always a winner! This is the perfect breakfast to give you a refreshing start to the day - much needed during the ridonkulously hot weather during the summer months! And, it's filled with loads of nutrients goodness- fibre from the oats, chia which also as fiber and is also loaded with protein and antioxidants and the cocoa is also high in antioxidants which are known to decrease the risk of getting diseases such as heart disease and cancer and so much more! One thing that I always have in my freezer are frozen berries as they're so handy, high in vitamin C and because they're frozen, I can have berries all year round and I love using them as breakfast toppings or as a cool snack for the summer. For this recipe I used a combo of frozen berries, but you could use any type of berries you have at hand. You can find the recipe here
